Dancers from around the country are set to reunite during halftime at the Allstate Arena Saturday, July 23rd as the Rush (13-4) close out the regular season against the Milwaukee Mustangs (6-11). The 57 former Adrenaline Rush Dancers are set to perform at halftime in celebration of the Adrenaline Rush Dance Team’s 10 Year Reunion.
“We are extremely excited to have organized the Adrenaline Rush Dance Team’s 10 Year Reunion,” Dance Coordinator Gloria Esposito said. “The dancers are traveling from across the country to dance together again. We will be performing routines from the past and will be ending with something new as we head into the future.”
Halftime will also feature the championship round of the season-long McDavid “Tug of Pride” tournament. “McDavid is very proud to be a corporate partner of the 2011 Chicago Rush team, and the presenting sponsor of the McDavid ‘Tug of Pride’ competition,” said Rey Corpuz Director of Marketing for McDavid Inc. “We are truly looking forward to the final championship round on Saturday.”
Athletes representing the Joliet West Tigers, Loyola Ramblers, DeKalb Barbs, Lyons Township Lions, Barrington Broncos and Montini Catholic Broncos will compete against each other in a tug-of-war battle to claim the ultimate championship title.
High school athletes from 24 teams competed in the season-long tournament. The Joliet West Tigers are the reigning 2010 “Tug of Pride” champions. For more information on the tournament please visit our Chicago Rush Tug of Pride Facebook page.
